Useful information about the Hotel New Elvezia in Ascona

Check- In is possible from 8 am to 9 pm. The rooms are guaranteed to be ready for occupancy from 3 pm.

The reception team is there for you between 8 am and 10 pm. From 10 pm to 8 am your call will be diverted to an external on-call service.

The reception is open daily from 08.00 am to 17.00 pm for questions and information. In the event of a late check-in, outside reception hours, the restaurant staff will be happy to help you and give you all the necessary information and your key. Please note: if the restaurant is closed, the reception will be permanently closed at 5 pm (opening hours of the restaurant).

From the nearest bus stop “Ascona Centro” you can walk to the hotel in two minutes via Via Collegio, directly behind the bus stop.

Regardless of whether you arrive before check-in or want to enjoy your last day of your stay to the fullest, you have the option of leaving your luggage at reception.

The hotel does not have its own parking spaces. There are very few public parking spaces (blue zone) at the entrance to Ascona. You can find additional paid parking spaces at Coop, Migros or in the old port.

Locations that are classified as Swiss Lodge offer all the core services of the hotel industry, but sometimes in a different way. Compared to the hotel industry, Swiss Lodge locations do not necessarily offer a shower and toilet in all rooms. Wardrobes and TV device are also no minimum requirements. In the Hotel New Elvezia, however, all rooms have their own bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as a television and wardrobe. However, the certification shows that we meet the safety, condition and maintenance requirements according to the hotel industry.
